Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases
Self-emptying bases make robot vacuums worth the price, especially for homes with a large footprint. It means that you don't need to empty the bin multiple times per run and it will run more frequently and keeps your floors tidy.
The app lets you set up zones and cleaning schedules. It didn't avoid objects like furniture legs or shoes, and also the Q Revo or j7.
1. iRobot Combo J7+
The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is the first from iRobot. It is a re-imagining of the iRobot J7 robotic vacuum, and adds a tiny reservoir of water, a robotic arm that raises and lowers mopping pads, as well as some new sensors. The result is a very efficient two-in-one cleaner, which we've discovered to be superior to other non-mopping robot vacuums.
The Combo J7+ does not have the smart mopping features found in our top pick, but it still does an impressive job of cleaning. It has a powerful brush roll that is effective on both hard floors and carpeted rooms. It is able to easily slide between rugs and furniture, even on steep staircases. It has a strong suction that we were impressed with, even though it'sn't as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.
What sets the Combo j7+ above other robot vacuums is its mopping feature that makes use of an incredibly small rotating brush to scrub the floor. SmartScrub is what iRobot refers to and it is akin to the way mops scrub a floor. The iRobot App allows you to enable it on the basis of a room.
The J7 Plus is easy to use and set up as other iRobot Robots. It's also simple to maintain. The dust bin and water tank are both removable, so they're easy to clean. The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos that demonstrate how to maintain the different elements of the machine. For instance replacing the mopping pad and filtering the water tank.
The only real drawback is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if it has a mopping pad attached and its 210ml water tank is filled. If either of those is not present, it simply vacuums. The iRobot App allows you to monitor the tank's water level and send alerts when it's low.
2. Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is a solid, budget-friendly robot that's great for mopping and vacuuming. Its mopping performance is particularly impressive, particularly considering its price. It is great for carpets and hard floors, picking up small to large debris (think hair tangles or kitty litter). It's also great for cleaning dried spills, messes and stains. It is also great for cleaning up stairs and other places that can easily become stuck.
The mopping system utilizes rotating pads to scrub your floors and remove dirt and grime from stuck-on areas. The pad is also thoroughly dried by 45 minutes of warm air after each cleaning to avoid the growth of mold and unpleasant odors. You can easily control the robot with the Roborock app or make use of your voice to get your mopping going, change settings, and much more.
Its vacuuming is also top-notch. It features powerful suction and a high-efficiency filter that can handle small to massive debris effortlessly. The only drawback is that it doesn’t work as well on carpets with pet hair. Ten percent of pet hair remains on our test surface after two cycles at max power, but this isn't uncommon in the world of vacuuming.
best robot vacuum with self empty has a lot going for it with its outstanding cleaning and mopping to its excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It's not as great as the top-quality robotic vacuum cleaner and mop however, it's an excellent option for anyone with a limited budget. Plus, it charges up to 30% faster than previous versions and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. That's a lot of convenience for not a whole lot of money. 3. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum / mop robot that works well and offers great features at a very affordable price. The set-up was simple and took just five minutes. After removing the protective plastic and manufacturing tape you can scan the QR code on the app to begin. The app is easy to use and will guide you through each step. Once you have it set up, you can start mapping and cleaning.
The app lets you create maps and customise the layout of your home. The app can also divide rooms into smaller sections to better meet your specific needs. For example, you can make a map for the kitchen area and another for the living room, allowing the robot to vacuum the floors in each room at different times.
In comparison to other robots I've tried The Yeedi Cube has a unique design that gives it an industrial feel. Its base station has more modularity than other robots, with the tank for dirty water and an auto-empty feature on one end, and the vacuum on the other. The mop pad, which is reusable, is also separate, slotting into the top of the robot and being attached to a handle on the front for easy removal and refilling.
The vacuum is as efficient as any robot I've tried, and it comes with two side brushes instead of the single brush found on many models. This improves the coverage of the vacuum, making it less likely to drop debris around walls and furniture. It isn't perfect in object recognition and tends to get into objects like the carpet in my office.
4. iRobot Braava Jet m6
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is a great option to maintain your floors. It does a fantastic job and keeps them looking amazing. It cannot vacuum like the other hybrids and it can't transfer from hard floors to rugs or carpets. However, with its long battery life and smart mopping capabilities, this model is an excellent choice for small and mid-sized houses.

It works in dry sweeping mode as well, cleaning up to 1,000 square feet at one charge. It's also able to map your floor plan using the iRobot app and clean rooms in a sequence using compatible Roomba vacuums.
In wet mopping, the m6 employs precise sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It was fascinating to watch, and it was able to remove even the most difficult dried-in coffee stains as well as juice staining my floors. It can be programmed to use less or more water than the maximum amount of water specified in the app.
The iRobot app is one of the best available and makes syncing to your home wifi easy. It comes with user-friendly features like scheduling, room partitioning and creating no-go zones that give you complete control over the machine. It also lets you see how much battery power remains so that you can get an accurate estimate of how much time it's left before having to be docked and recharged. The m6 is on sale at My Robot Centre in the UK for $499, the iRobot store in the US for $399 and on Amazon (where it's currently on sale). It comes in graphite and white.
5. Shark RV2610WA
It's no secret that robot vacuums and mops are a practical method of keeping your home spotless without having to lift a finger, but they tend to be expensive to purchase. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with XL HEPA Self-Empty base, which we reviewed here costs $699 / PS559 / around $1054. If you don't want the charging base, it will still cost $549/PS395 or approximately $675.
Shark RV2610WA can be a great option for those looking for a robot that is versatile and can perform both vacuuming as well as mopping. It can also deep clean stubborn stains using the stain-lifting product included in the package. The app lets you set up the machine to clean at a certain time and day. It also has an advanced feature that lets you to control your robot when you're away.
The Shark vacuum cleaner is effective at vacuuming and can remove the majority of debris. However, it is not as efficient on carpets. It's not difficult for pet hair to get stuck in the brushroll, and its dirt bin can quickly fill up. There are a few parts that require regular maintenance and replacement. This can lead to regular costs.
There are better options available on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on bare floors and carpets with a lot of pile. It's more sturdy, has an extra-large dustbin and is able to move over obstacles such as electrical cords with ease. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's well worth the extra expense if require a cleaner that can do both tasks with ease.
